The Kids on the Colorado River program is excited to announce its Community Day event, bringing together families, outdoor enthusiasts, and community members for a day of education, recreation, and connection at Lake Havasu City’s Aquatic Center.

This free, family-friendly event offers a variety of activities designed to foster a love for the outdoors and educate attendees about the Colorado River’s ecosystem. Highlights include:

Guided Kayak Tours: Explore the Colorado River with guided kayak tours led by experienced instructors (pre-registration recommended).
Fishing Clinics: Kids can try their hand at fishing with provided equipment and guidance from pros.

About Kids on the Colorado River
The Kids on the Colorado River program, a partnership between the Arizona Game and Fish Department and local organizations, aims to connect youth and families with the natural beauty and recreational opportunities of the Colorado River. Through hands-on experiences, the program promotes environmental stewardship and outdoor skills.
